Address by the President of the Association

The “Georgian Association of Epidemiologists and Infection Control Specialists” is a non-profit legal entity registered in accordance with the legislation of Georgia based on the decision of the founding members.

The goal of the association is to promote the safety of the Georgian population when receiving medical services, improve the quality of medical care, and promote the development of patient-centered medicine.

The association has a president and vice-president with equal rights, as well as a governing board consisting of 7 members.

The members of the association are epidemiologists, healthcare quality management managers, infection prevention and control specialists, clinicians, public health professionals, nurses, professors and students who share the goals of the organization, receive information about our activities and make a significant contribution to achieving our goals.

I hope that this connection will be even more effective in the future.

Annual membership fee of the association:

  • For individuals – 120 GEL

  • For students – 60 GEL

  • For organizations – 400 GEL

A memorandum and cooperation agreement will be signed with the participating organizations.

Our members receive the latest, translated infection control materials via email and social media, which increases their knowledge and facilitates their daily activities.
